We are currently looking for a Range Manager to lead our Upholstery category and join our Product team at Kave Home's headquarters in Sils, Spain.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and optimizing our upholstery product range, working cross-functionally with the Buying, Technical, Quality, and external partner teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and lead the upholstery category strategy, ensuring alignment with the brand positioning and business objectives.
• Develop, structure, and evolve upholstery collections, from concept development through product launch and commercial performance monitoring.
• Identify market trends, business opportunities, and innovations in materials, finishes, and product construction to maintain a competitive and forward-thinking product offering.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and strategic partners that bring value, differentiation, and profitability to the category.
• Negotiate commercial agreements with both national and international suppliers, securing the best business terms.
• Monitor category performance by analyzing sales, margins, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners, collaborating closely with our international offices.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure the technical, industrial, and commercial feasibility of new product developments.
• Lead and develop the team supporting the category, fostering alignment, engagement, and high performance.
• Manage the category budget and ensure effective resource planning.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Management, Category Management, Buying, or similar roles, preferably within the furniture, home décor, or upholstery industries.
• Previous experience leading teams, with the ability to develop talent and foster collaborative working environments.
• Strong knowledge of upholstered furniture, materials, manufacturing processes, and product development.
• Passion for design, trends, and product innovation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skills in multicultural environments.
• Strong analytical mindset, results-oriented approach, and commercial acumen.
• Willingness to travel internationally and build relationships with suppliers worldwide.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
